Integrity, Loyalty, Professionalism, Passion!!!! These are words that are the driving force behind my business. I have been in real estate for 20 years and have a wide range of knowledge which allows me to assist my clients with their specific needs. I have been a Lexingtonian for 51 years which has given me the knowledge of the local market and the markets of our surrounding counties. I have extensive knowledge in the new construction area as I have represented many builders in central Kentucky for my entire career. I am consistently one of the Top Producing agents at Keller Williams Commonwealth as well a top 1% agent at my local board, LBAR. I love what I do and it shows when I am working with buyers and sellers. I want to be your agent for life!

Fun Facts About Scotty

I am Tates Creek High School graduate and hold a bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky. I also have proudly served my country and am a 1991 Desert Storm Veteran. I was raised in a large military family, my father aka. “The Colonel” was a retired Army Full Bird Colonel, two of my brothers are retired Lt. Colonels and I had a brother who served in the Navy. I truly appreciate everyone who has served this wonderful country and given the ultimate sacrifice.

Fun Facts About Scotty

I come from a large military family, my father “The Col”, retired as a Full Bird Colonel (0-6), and his father retired as a Lt Colonel (0-5). I have two brothers that are retired Lt Colonels and a brother who served in the Navy. I am a Desert Storm veteran who served 8 years in the United States Army with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant (0-1). My family served in every conflict from WWI to Desert Storm.

Scotty is a Golfer...

I am a huge fan of the game of golf! Summertime, when I am not assisting clients, you can usually find me on a golf course somewhere. Real Estate has allowed me the time to enjoy the things that I love to do and the people I love to do it with!

Scotty Has A Country Side...

For 8 years I was part of the Thoroughbred Racing Industry here in Kentucky. My partner and I started out racing horses and then shifted to the breeding and raising of yearlings. I love thoroughbred horses and Kentucky farm land and enjoy spending time at Keeneland and other race tracks. My close friends call me “Cowboy Scotty” because I love my boots, blue jeans and my cowboy hat.

Scotty Loves His Mother Dearly...

My mother, who everyone calls “Mama Flo” was diagnosed with dementia over 10 years ago. Caring for her has been a priority for me which has actually turned into a bond that has truly changed both our lives. We kid, joke and cut up all the time whether we are hanging at her senior home or cruising down the street listening to country music together. We have grown extremely close and really enjoy just being together. She is a Facebook Rockstar, helping me with some advertising or just being silly taking pictures with me. I always joke with friends; she always gets more likes than me! Mama Flo, I love you deeply and thankful we can spend the time we do together!

Service, Not Sales!!! I’ve had many conversations with people over the years that say, “Hey, you’d make a great salesperson!!” I have always immediately responded with a resounding NO WAY!! I figured out why… I don’t like “Selling”! I love Service however!! One of my first jobs was in the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables, FL. From bartending to hosting to eventually the front office. Every job I’ve had since has been in service, specifically tending to the needs of people around me and making sure they’re taken care of. I have been called a “Jane of all Trades” for the variety of jobs I’ve had, but the common theme with all was serving people! Even as a stay-at-home mom for 15 years, I loved serving! I loved doing for my family, anticipating their needs and generally trying to make their lives better. I served and volunteered my children’s entire school career and still do! So, now the kids are almost grown and I’m entering a new season of my life, so I was naturally drawn to this field!

I have worked as a Transaction Coordinator and Assistant for many agents over the past 4 years. The last two years, with a prominent developer here in Central Kentucky, acting not only as the Transaction Coordinator for the new construction, but I listed and sold new homes, older homes and ran the selections process with home buyers and their agents. I have gained so much respect and admiration for not only the agents I’ve worked under, but all the agents I’ve come in contact with since. I am always saying, “I love my agents!”. I am now able to work alongside these incredible people as a peer, and I couldn’t be happier! I can’t wait to serve you and be a part of the wonderful and exciting journey of all thing’s real estate!
